About the Appeal

Great success for our first full year.

Following 12 successful pilot projects in 2005, 100 projects were successfully delivered in 2006 with the following results:

• 400 coaches delivered 20,652 coaching hours.  
• 26,698 boys and 18,662 girls participated, of whom 10% represented ethnic minorities and of whom 1% were disabled.  
• 5,414 school matches were played, the vast majority the first played by schools for very many years.

Chance to shine has achieved exceptional results in 2007. These will be published by end November.
