Raising £50 Million

Grant Maintained Trusts

Chance to shine has enjoyed the generous support of many Grant Making Trusts and other charities.  Collectively these have generated in excess of £2 million.

Because Chance to shine programmes are being delivered in each of the 38 cricketing counties, we have projects taking place throughout England.  In this way we are able to offer specific projects to Grant Making Trusts for direct support in geographical areas that are in line with their charitable remits.

Annual Delivery Costs (per Project) are as follows:

  • Coaching: £4,500 (20 hours per week for 15 weeks @ £15 per hour)
  • Equipment:   £1,000
  • Matches / Competitions:  £500
  • Club management and administration:    £1,000
  • Training of teachers and coaches; facility development (installation of non-turf pitches and playground markings):  £3,000 average

Total:              £10,000
